Ini adalah kiriman tentang projek Tahun Baru Cina kami : Naga Terbang di Publika, (Dua ekor naga, satu lembut dan satu lagi agak ‘macho’) sempena Tahun Naga.
The Modular
Most modular systems are originated from the squarish cube,consisting of lines and surfaces thus replenish forms purposely based on their accordances. Stephen Hawking used to say,

“Dots(atoms) lined up altogether would constitute a line,
lines put closer into each others create a surface,
surfaces combined into certain rhythms compose a form,
Forms of forms on forms establish a volume;
But it takes time to create all”
This particular modular system is designed so that it could be a series where experimentation with various forms could be interpreted nearing to geometrical results.
The Dragon
The Flying Dragon installation was designed specifically with the same modular to create a statue of a “dominant,sacred,powerful and auspicious” cultural entity.The gigantic size of the skeletal-look installation was finally put into realization with finished details by Yoke Tan with her illustrations, while floral patterns with soft-hue of pink colours might understate the ‘perception’ towards the dragon, the graphic actually pointed out the mightiness of an imperialist dragon as a “Ruler of Water and Weather”.
